DragonCash is used for many things. These include:
- Purchasing Habitats.
- Purchasing primary Dragons.
- Purchasing Decorations.
- Participating in Quests.
- Purchasing Treats.
Buying DragonCash in the Market
The most common way to earn DragonCash is to put Dragons in Habitats and collect the DragonCash when it fills up. An icon of a filled treasure box will appear when a habitat is one-third full, and will switch to an icon of an overflowing treasure box when it reaches 80% of the habitats capacity.
DragonCash can be collected by tapping on the icon or by tapping on the habitat before enough DragonCash accumulates and tapping the "Collect"
DragonCash can also be earned from selling unwanted Dragons, completing Goals, filling in crates for The Arcane Airship and sending it off, reward wheels obtained via Daily Rewards, and selling Gathered Items to friends and/or to the world at Silvia's Trading Post.
- For more information see Money Strategies.
The Golden Talon Bank & Trust is the building used to increase the maximum storage capacity of dragoncash.
Once the player reaches the maximum capacity of DragonCash obtainable, most DragonCash activies will not allow you to go above the maximum capacity. Selling Gathered Items at Silvia's Trading post, filling in Crates for The Arcane Airship, selling dragons, and selling buildings is still possible, but all of the DragonCash that goes above the limit will be voided. You will be greeted with a message stating "Cannot collect DragonCash. Bank is full!". The DragonCash will not be collected from the habitat until the player purchases something.
There are a few scenerios however where DragonCash can be collected and go above its maximum capacity. Events such as sending off complete airships, daily rewards, and the first prize from Weekend Events can go beyond the current capacity indefinitely, assuming nothing were to be bought.
There is however, a higher cap limit which applies to not tapping already sold items, which would raise the possibility to hold up to 144,198,800 assuming all 40 sale slots in Silvia's Trading Post were filled with full stacks of Rainbow Cauldrons sold at maximum price, plus 25,000,000 solid limit without overflow.
