Inbox is the place to view your messages, and to look for any gifts awarded by Backflip Studios. Additionally, you are able to unlock and view letters sent to you by in-game characters, as well as postcards.

• In very early versions of DragonVale World. The Inbox button was a text bubble with dots. It had 2 additional tabs, Activity and Guilds.
  • Every time you completed a goal in the Wizard Hall, 3-reward intervals chart will pop up for every time you complete a goal. Your friends would be prompted with a message in the activity section stating that your friend has completed a goal. They are given an option to applaud your Achievement. More applauds mean a merrier reward. 5 Applauds will reward you for 5/10/20, 10 applauds for 10/20/50, and 25 applauds for 25/50/100. The amount varies on the type of goal, or the tier of the reward given for a 3-tier goal.
  • The Clan section was the place to receive notifications of clan messages from members of your Clan. You would be given messages every time someone joins your clan, wants to join your clan, or leaves your clan, in addition to personalized messages sent by members of the clan.
• As of October 10th 2016, The Inbox is no longer the place to view or send gifts to Friends. The Friends tab allow you to message and visit any of your friends whereas the Inbox tab only allows you to message and visit friends whom have messaged you.
• Letters and Postcards were introduced on December 5th 2016.
